OWNERS /DIRECTORS & MANAGERS – FRANK & JANEEN STEPHENS.

Frank is a licensed builder with many years of construction and alterations under his belt. He is also a qualified pastry cook.

Janeen worked for a clothing chain for over 7 years and was the manager of several departments.

They were settled in Port Macquarie,NSW, but got itchy feet and packed up and moved to Queensland.

They chose to move to Hervey Bay in 1989, worked for other people and raise their three girls here.

After assisting other similar businesses in town, they decided to start their own business Franks Home Decor Centre in Hervey Bay in July 1993.

After renting numerous different premises, they made a decision to purchase a property to combine business & family together.

As there family was the most important thing to them, they chose a property at Old Maryborough Road, to take care of young children and have the ability to run the office close by.

Their children have all grown now and two of them are currently working in the office alongside their parents.

Their long term goal is to step aside and let the children and their partners take over.

INSTALLER OF BLINDS, AWNINGS, WINDOWS & SECURITY PRODUCTS – DIRECTOR & PART OWNER – RYAN LOVEKIN

Ryan is a dedicated worker here at Franks Home Decor.

He frequently receives compliments from clients about his attention to detail and tidiness.

He has been working at Franks since 2009 and recently purchased a portion of the business with his wife Janita Lovekin.

Ryan frequently assists Frank with some quotation / sales work to gain knowledge in this side of the business.

The long-term goal being to take over from Frank and assist him to achieve his retirement plans.

His knowledge of products and his experience of installations are outstanding.

He is a very conscientious person and shows great respect to customers and their property. Ryan is also a fully qualified plasterer.

Ryan installs all sorts of home decorating products and can suggest other ideas to clients once onsite.

He has a team member who works alongside him to efficiently complete the work laid out for them.

OFFICE ASSISTANT – DIRECTOR & PART OWNER – JANITA LOVEKIN

Janita has worked alongside her parents & sister for the past 3 ½ years, after leaving a government position to help assist with the running of the showroom office. She has a certificate 3 in business skills.

Janita and her husband Ryan have made an excellent decision to recently purchase a portion of the Franks Home Decor Centre business to provide a secure future for themselves and their family. They are also assisting Frank & Janeen with moving forward with their retirement plans.

Janita manages clients and creditors accounts, she is also another point of contact either by phone or over the showroom counter.

From the initial site visit with Frank, through to the day of construction, be assured your home will be looked after by our patio team. Our patio staff have been trained to meet the Australia Construction Standards, and are covered by QBCC Insurances.

Which means its build to withstand the harsh Australian climate.

We don’t deal with “kit’s or supply only” – everything here at Frank’s Home Decor is “custom made”, that way its perfect!
